With a beautiful 4mm green jade cabochon set in his mouth, this unisex ponytail holder is made from heavy gauge copper, which I pressed from a vintage die carved in the late 1800's. It is domed just a bit to hug a ponytail just right, providing a low profile. This measures 1-1/2" diameter and comes with a black hair band installed and one to spare, which is replaceable with any band you like to use.
 
You have a choice of patina: Old World, which is what most of the photos illustrates, however the last photo shows two done in Flame Patina, which provides unpredictable, luminescent colors.
